The JSON it produces is slightly different from what we had before:
1. indentation is a bit different;
2. it uses non-breaking space as thousands separator. I discussed this
with @lostinlight and persuaded her that NBSP is less confusing than
commas, because different cultures use different separators;
3. `lastUpdate` uses a format like "27 Jun 2023" rather than "27/06/23".
Again, I discussed this with @lostinlight and she agreed that the new
format is less confusing.
Fixes#152.
This commit does some more fixes for wherever I
could find the string "Extention".
Disclaimer: I have not tested the effects of rendering
this series of fixes.
- fix "Extentions" to "Extensions"
- fix "Forum" to "Forums" in the list of categories for Kbin
- add "Forums" to the list of categories for Lemmy
I've noticed Lemmy being described as a link aggregator, but
in practice I've only actually seen it being used as a forum,
so it seems fair to include it in "Forums".
This commit proposes to add https://fedi.garden as a curated
list of fediverse instances to the description of the
'Safer spaces' section of the list of instances.
though it can probably be also entirely deleted, as there has not been progress for 3 years and the site is down

Given the closure of mastodon.lol, thousands of users will need a new home.
Let's help them find one. Queer instances have very good reasons to not
have open applications, and it's hard for them to be safe spaces if they
grow too much or let anyone join immediately (potentially for ban evasion
and harassment).
Already tech.lgbt is approaching 5k active users which is too much.
